Danielle Lemky
BA, MC, CCC

Registered Psychologist

Danielle (she/her) provides adult individual and couples counselling. She hopes to welcome you to an affirmative and safe space where you can work collaboratively to enhance your mental wellness. Danielle takes a relationship-based and person-centered approach where she values you as the expert of your experience. She uses an integrative method that implements a variety of modalities of therapy that are individualized and tailored to meet you where you are at.

She has experience working with trauma, grief/loss, emotional/mood regulation, anxiety, and depression. Danielle specializes in supporting those who have experienced pregnancy and infant loss including (but not limited to): miscarriage, stillbirth, ectopic pregnancy, neonatal loss, termination for medical reasons (TFMR), SIDS/SUDC, abortion, in/fertility experiences, NICU experiences, and pregnancy after loss.

Outside of work, Danielle loves being in the mountains, reading a good book, travelling, and taking long walks with her Duck Toller, Lola.

Sarah Mateshaytis
MSW, RSW

Registered Social Worker

Sarah (she/her) provides individual adult and couples counselling. She specializes in perinatal mood, adjustment and coping during the perinatal period, parental mental health, and parental relationship challenges.

Sarah knows how important it is to take care of yourself, your relationship(s), and your family during the perinatal period, and how challenging this phase of life can be. She has a certificate in Perinatal Mental Health from Canadian Perinatal Mental Health Trainings (CPMHT), as well as certificates in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Functional Family Therapy, and Brief Solution Focused Therapy. She takes a systemic, and strengths-based approach with her clients.

Sarah loves a hot cup of tea with milk, her wire-haired vizsla pup, Tetley (yes, she’s named after the tea!), and hiking and camping in the mountains.

We set up the clinic space this way because we recognize that the sights and sounds of a perinatal population may not set the right mood for a counselling session. We have built a calm and quiet space to welcome you.

  • Counselling can support you with a number of life’s challenges, and can provide or create a safe space to explore difficulties you may be experiencing. Connect with our counsellors to find out how they can be a support to you.

  • Connect with our counsellors to find out if they are the right fit for you and your counselling needs. Our counsellors offer free consultation phone calls to help determine if they’re the right fit to support you with your concern(s).

  • Most insurance companies accept our counsellors’ various credentials for reimbursement of counselling services. Connect with your counsellor to ensure that their credentials are accepted by your insurance provider. Some of our practitioners offer direct billing, refer to their company websites for more details.
