  • Ensemble Healthcare is a multidisciplinary healthcare collective in Northwest Calgary. We provide wraparound prenatal and postpartum support to individuals and their families. We are a team of independent practitioners and business owners, working together to bring you better care.

  • We are a team of physicians, rehabilitation therapists and counsellors focusing on perinatal and postpartum care. When visiting Ensemble, you will book with whichever practitioner(s) best suit your needs. During the course of your care, we may recommend the services of other practitioners under the Ensemble umbrella, and we will always provide alternate practitioner options as well. With your consent, Ensemble practitioners can consult and collaborate to make sure you receive the best care possible. Visit our Services page to learn about our various service offerings or visit our Team page to learn about our practitioners. Not sure what’s the best fit for you? Contact us to discuss your needs.

  • Ensemble Healthcare providers all work in a micropractice model, which means that we prioritize communication and continuity of care, while harnessing technology to make all interactions more efficient. This means that you only ever interact with your care provider, both in clinic and between visits, when you can access us through online appointment booking and secure email. Learn more about the micropractice model in our blog post.

  • We believe strongly in the benefits of group models of care as a complement to traditional one-on-one care. Pregnancy and early parenthood can be a vulnerable time when parents are navigating new identities, new responsibilities, and new worries. Our practitioners facilitate discussions that build knowledge, community and confidence. Learn more here.

  • Our doctors’ services are covered if you have a valid Alberta Health Care number. Services provided by our allied health care practitioners are covered by many private insurance benefit plans. All of our practitioners can provide receipts for you to submit for reimbursement, and some of our practitioners offer direct billing. Since we operate as a collective, each practitioner sets their own policies, including appointment length, pricing, and whether or not they offer direct billing. You can refer to our practitioners’ websites, that are linked under their bios, for more information.

We recognize that the cost of allied healthcare services can be a barrier for many of our patients. Our group programming is one way that we are working to increase access to care. As a social enterprise, we are developing other ways to provide equitable care. Learn more on our Community page.
