Infant Sleep Consultation
At Ensemble, we help tired parents navigate infant sleep issues, poor napping, difficult bedtimes, and frequent nighttime wake-ups. Our infant sleep consultant, Melody, provides individualized strategies and support during pregnancy up until school-age.
Melody Patton
RN, Sleep Sense Certified
Registered Nurse & Infant Sleep Consultant
Melody (she/her) works with families 1:1 to provide strategies and support to get their baby or toddler sleeping well. Most of her work is done virtually so parents from all over can get coaching. At Ensemble, Melody is part of the team providing education and support in our Postpartum Group Programs. Melody has a background in mental health and maternity care nursing and her knowledge from these areas are incorporated into how she works with families.
Common struggles that Melody coaches parents on are: nap difficulties, bedtime challenges, night feeds and night wake ups, and early mornings. She also provides education to parents that are expecting or have a newborn to learn about baby sleep, and how to create healthy sleep routines for the whole family.
Melody has been a registered nurse for over 10 years, and trained with the Sleep Sense Program in 2018. Since then, she’s worked with over 300 families, and done countless sleep education presentations.
Outside of work, Melody loves to take her family to the beaches in B.C., take walks with friends, and find great deals while consignment shopping.
